In Uzhgorod, art eco-bags were traded at a charity auction to help mothers of special children

The money raised will be used to help moms, who bring up children with special physical needs. The drawings depicted on the bags were made by 50 young artists from all over the country who participated in the "Silver Easel" competition. Volunteers of the NGO "Happy Children" asked them to paint on bags and to put them up sale on an online auction, which ended on November 10th.

"We are organizing an auction in order to raise funds for the purchase of the necessary equipment for the opening of a social enterprise – creative workshop "pTashka". Thanks to lessons of Lyudmila Syuzeva within the Youth Entrepreneurship Incubator program and her victory in the project competition, we have two professional sewing machines. However, there is a need for a machine for fabric printing, color printer, special furniture, etc. The social workshop "pTashka" is a platform that will provide mothers of children with disabilities and women of socially vulnerable categories the opportunity to make some money, it will help to accumulate funds for social projects of the NGO "Happy Children", and increase the ecological awareness of the Transcarpathians", – the head of the NGO "Happy Children" Olga Pavlova said.
