In Uzhgorod, an appartment block was burning (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

On March 16, at 10:55, Uzhgorod rescuers received a report of a fire in a 5-storey residential building on Hrushevsky street in Uzhgorod. 

3 crews of the 14th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Uzhgorod were sent to eliminate the fire. It turned out that in a compensation joint between the buildings on the area of ​​about 50 square meters, debris had caught fire. That was the cause of the big smoke.

At 11:20, the firefighters contained the fire, and at 14:04 eliminated it. The process was hindered due to a large amount of garbage. In total, 12 personnel members and 3 vehicles were engaged. 

The final cause is to be determined. One of the versions is careless handling of fire by unknown persons.

Nobody was killed or injured.
