In Uzhgorod, a robbery occured

August 19, the investigation department of the Uzhgorod City Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region registered the information in the URPI and initiated the investigation of the criminal offense under Part 3 of Art. 187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (robbery combined with breaking and entering – punishable by imprisonment for a term of seven to twelve years with confiscation of property).

At the scene of the crime, the investigative team found out that at about 8:30 am, two unidentified persons had attacked a 53-year-old female resident of Uzhgorod that had come out of her house into the yard.

Since the doors were still open, the attackers freely entered the premises and threatening the woman with an object similar to a gun forced her to give them 15,000 UAH, after which they fled.

The forensic experts examined the crime scene using photography.

The Acting Prosecutor of Uzhgorod, the Chief of Uzhgorod City Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region, as well as all members of the investigative team also came to the crime scene.
