The Security Service of Ukraine detained a traffic police officers who demanded from a local resident 9,000 UAH for the issuance of driver’s license.
April 1 this year, the Security Service in cooperation with the regional prosecutor’s office detained an employee of the center to provide services related to operation of vehicles in Vynogradiv District "red-handed" when receiving the second part of the bribe – 4,050 UAH.
The Prosecutors of Transcarpathian region notified the detainee of being suspected of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art.368 (obtaining undue advantage by an official combined with extortion of undue advantage) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The pretrial investigation continues.
