In Transcarpathia, police detained a man who beat to death a person whose body was found in the middle of the street (PHOTOS)

 Criminal proceedings were instituted by the police over the intentional grievous bodily harm that resulted in the death of the victim. The suspect in the brutal beating of a Beregovo district resident was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CCP Ukraine 
Today, May 18, around  2:10, Beregovo district police received a call from a woman who said that she had found a man with no signs of life on Vashut street in the village of Batyevo. At the scene, near the train station, law enforcement officers found the man mentioned in the report. The police promptly identified the deceased. As it turned out, he was a local 40-year-old resident.  
There were obvious signs of a violent death on the body of the deceased, so law enforcement officers immediately began searching for the perpetrator. Investigators opened a criminal case over intentional grievous bodily harm that led to the death of the victim under Part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.   
Within hours, the man, who had fatally injured the victim, was identified and found. He was a 37-year-old resident of Volovets. The investigation will find out what exactly happened between the men.  
Currently, the defendant has already been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
