In Transcarpathia, industrial production “falls”

During the past year, the decline in industrial production was recorded in Transcarpathia. During 11 months of 2013, the rate of decline was 4%, the worst figure since 2009.  Compared with November 2012, the drop was 10%.

The total volume of sales in selling prices was 6 billion 672.1 million hryvnias, against 6 billion 166.1 million hryvnias for the corresponding period in 2012, which is an increase of 506 million hryvnias.
In the structure of industrial products sold, in terms of types of activity, manufacturing industry products account for the largest share – 82.1%, electricity, gas supply – 16.4%, and the mining industry accounts for only 1%.

         Rapid growth of output has been achieved in such manufacturing industries as manufacturing of chemicals and chemical products – by 70%, and fabricated metal products – by 39.1%.
