This morning, at the checkpoint "Solotvyno", border guards together with customs workers found a cache with tobacco products in a car "Skoda" moving from Ukraine and driven by a Romanian citizen.
Given the available information on the possible transportation of prohibited items or materials in this car, border guards initiated in-depth inspection of the said vehicle.
As a result, the Border Guard Service officers found in the spare wheel 170 packs of cigarettes, including 100 packs of "Marble" without excise stamps and 70 packs of "Rotmans" with excise stamps of Ukraine.
The found cigarettes were seized from the foreigner.
