In Transcarpathia, a suburban train was burning

The fire started in the engine compartment, the driver managed to stop the train and evacuate the passengers.

On Friday, August 25, the suburban train Korolevo-Teresva caught fire between the settlements of Steblivka and Sokyrnytsia in Khust district.

The driver noticed a fire in the engine compartment. He stopped the train, disconnected the car and organized the evacuation of the passengers.

Railwaymen were extinguishing the fire on their own while waiting for the arrival of firefighters. Rescuers arrived on call and completely eliminated the fire.

Currently, the traffic on the railway has been resumed, and nobody was injured due to the fire.
