According to the Segodnya, the other day, in the village of Iza in Transcarpathian region, a 20-year-old local resident found at the dump the corpse of a boy wrapped in a plastic bag. The man told the police that he had come to collect scrap metal, but instead found the bag with the lifeless body of a baby.
"During the autopsy of the infant, forensic experts found severe injuries incompatible with life. Now the police are looking for the killer mother" – Transcarpathian regional police department reported.
The preliminary investigation under Art.115, Part 2, para. 2 (Murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been opened. The killer mother faces imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years or life imprisonment.
