In the first quarter of this year, only 33 houses in the cities of the region have been fitted with electric heating. Including 23 in Uzhgorod, 2 in Mukachevo.
In villages, 36 houses have been fitted with electric heating. In addition, the regional power company replaced 0,4-10 kW cable lines, performed repairs on city substations, mounted additional and replaced overloaded power substations.
In the villages, where more than 63% Transcarpathians live, the situation is worse – modernization there there is carried out very rarely.
