In the summer, tourists in Kolochava will be able to climb to the “Shuhay’s attic”

In the summer, the village of Kolochava in Mizhhirya district plans to launch new tourist attraction. The ideas are implemented by philanthropist and native of the village Stanislava Arzhevitina.

Very soon tourists will be able to travel in the railway car – the office of the Hero of Socialist Labor, famous woodcutter Ivan Chusa, or in the railroad ambulance car of the Kolochava narrow gauge. And also to take a ride on a real trolley along the steep Bradolets river. The final stop, organizers say, is the cafe where you can sip coffee next to the historical figure of Hungarian ministerial adviser Edmund Egan. For tourists and visitors, there will also be the new Czech Hall "Olbrachtova pivnice". And extreme lovers will be able to climb up to the attic of the legendary Carpathian rebel Shuhay.

Recall, that now Kolochava has the largest number of museums in a single village not only in the region but also in Ukraine – 10. Among them there are "Old Village", "Kolochava Narrow Gauge", "Staier’s Bunker" and so on. The mountain village also has twenty monuments, including to a shepherd, to migrant workers, to Kolochava Jews, to geese.
