In the center of Uzhgorod, the police arrested a 23-year-old city resident with a bag of marijuana

In the regional center, as a result of preventive measures, the police found on S. Petofi Sq. a young man carrying drugs.

At noon, officers of the service to combat drug trafficking noticed on S. Petofi Sq. in Uzhgorod a 23-year-old city resident.

When talking with the police, the man voluntarily, in the presence of witnesses, took out of a jacket pocket a plastic bag with herbal drug substance similar to marijuana.  

According to the man, the bag indeed contained marijuana, but he was keeping it for personal use…

The seized substance was sent to the Research Forensic Centre at the regionsl Ministry of Internal Affairs Office for examination. This incident was registered in the Journal of uniform accounting of statements and reports on committed criminal offenses and other events of Uzhgorod City Police Department. Currently, the city police are investigating into the matter.
