In Perechyn district, three teenagers were poisoned with an unknown substance

Three students, one 16 and two 17 years old, were hospitalized in the in-patient department of Perechyn District Hospital because of an unknown substance poisoning. This incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations of Perechyn district police department. The circumstances, under which the children were seriously injured, are currently being established.

During the break, they went to the river, which flows not far from the lyceum, and drank a substance of unknown origin.

Three students were just returning to class, when teachers saw them. Adults immediately realized that children needed medical care and called an ambulance. The minors in critical condition were delivered to Perechyn District Hospital and later – to the children’s regional hospital in Mukachevo. According to the preliminary conclusion of the district medics, the students were poisoned with a substance of unknown origin. Currently, they are conducting the examination to determine what kind of substance the children consumed, though the students themselves were convinced that they were consuming vodka. Other circumstances in this proceedings are also being estblished.
