In Perechyn district, the police caught a man who was cutting trees in the reserve

On November 12, Perechyn police received a report from a forester that unknown persons were illegally cutting wood. The response team of the patrol police and the district officer arrived at the scene. 

In the village of P. Huta, the police stopped a truck ZIL without license plates, loaded with timber. A 36-year-old resident of that village was behind the wheel.  

As it turned out, in the forest near the village, in the nature reserve area, the man had illegally cut 4 beech trees for firewood. The total volume of the cut wood is about 5 cubic meters. 

The police started criminal proceeding over the illegal felling of trees in the reserve. Investigators are finding out the circumstances of the case.
