In partnership with the city council, the necessary repair work will be carried out in an Uzhgorod high-rise building

The Mayor of Uzhgorod Bohdan Andriyiv met yesterday with residents of the high-rise building at Moshaysky Street, 9A. The tenants of this house, which is the former dormitory, appealed to the Mayor in late January this year: the roof of the house had long been leaking; smoke ventilation ducts had collapsed; brickwork of the parapets had been destroyed.

Although a condominium was established there, residents were unable to carry out repairs on their own, because they could not afford it. And recently, thanks to the co-financing from the city budget, the long-awaited repair work started: a new roof will be made there, parapets and smoke ventilation ducts will be repaired, new roof door will be installed, and so on.

The total cost of work is almost 300 thousand hryvnias, of which 240 thousand hryvnias will be allocated from the city budget, the contribution of all tenants is about 60 thousand hryvnias.
