At night, on August 30, there was a fight between a 26-year-old and a 29-year-old residents of the neighboring region in a hotel in Transcarpathia. As a result, they started shooting with guns.
This was reported by the press service of the Transcarpathian regional police.
According to law enforcement officers, the police of Khust district received a report of shooting with an unknown weapon in one of the city’s hotels.
During a fight, a 26-year-old and a 29-year-old residents of the neighboring region used their registered guns. As a result, one of the men sufferred a bullet wound and was hospitalized, – the police officers said.
It is known that now his life and health are not in danger.
Investigators opened a criminal proceeding pursuant to Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Hooliganism using of weapons). The 29-year-old suspect was detained. The investigation continues.
