Mukachevo City Council amended the provision on the city council scholarship for the winners of Nationwide student competitions in basic subjects and Nationwide competition-defense of scientific research projects of students – members of the Junior Academy of Sciences. According to the decision, as of January 1, the amount of scholarships shall be increased fivefold – to 500 hryvnia – the head of the city Department of Education Katerina Kryshinets-Andyaloshiy said.
The candidates for scholarships will be determineed the Department of Education experts on the basis of consideration at meetings of the expanded board of the Department of Education involving representatives of the teaching staff, the public, the media.
