Yesterday in Mukachevo a real beauty contest among dogs took place at the embankment. More than three dozen breeders from Mukachevo, Uzhgorod, Khust and even Lviv brought their pets here.
Among the participants there were pekingese, a husky, newfoundland, Jack Russell terriers, pit bulls, Cane Corso, Bernese mountain dog, and most of all – the German shepherd. South Russian Shepherd puppies and adult trained dogs were evaluated by Kiev judges Galina Raziy, Elena Sharinskaya and Tatiana Subbotina.
Working shepherd dogs showed master-class at the individual performances: they caught the thief, hopped in the car on the move, showed their skills as a customs officer’s dogs and as dog-rescuers.
