In Mukachevo, people are getting vaccinated against diphtheria

Last week, 4,097 people were vaccinated aganst diphtheria, including 1,381 children, 2,716 adults.
Over the weekend, 52 people applied for vaccination. Vaccination is free of charge.
According to the calendar of vaccinations approved by the Ministry of Health, vaccination for diphtheria should be given to children aged 2, 4, 6 months, re-vaccination in a year, subsequent re-vaccination at 6 and 16 years. Adults need to undergo diphtheria re-vaccination every 10 years throughout their lifetime. Preventive vaccinations is the only way to stop the spread of diphtheria in Ukraine.
