Yesterday, late in the evening, in the village of Zaluzhzhya in Mukachevo district, a minibus "Mercedes Sprinter" with passengers traveling abroad drove into a ditch. Four injured women were hospitalized. The police started investigation into this incident.
Around 23.00, an accident involving several people occurred in Mukachevo district. On the highway Mukachevo-Rohatyn, near the village of Zaluzhzhya, a minibus "Mercedes Sprinter" ran off the road and drove into a ditch. It was driven by a resident of the village of Drahovo in Khust district. The driver was transporting a group of migrant workers abroad.
As a result of the accident, four female passengers of the minibus, residents of the town of Tyachiv, villages of Drahovo and Rokosovo in Khust district, were hospitalized to the traumatology of the Mukachevo hospital. They were diagnosed with fractures, dislocations and bruises. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries. The rest of the passengers were not injured.
The police of Mukachevo district initiated a criminal proceedings under part 1 of Art.286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of traffic safety rules). The car is detained at the police impound lot. Investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the car accident. It is known that the driver was sober.
