In Mukachevo, a woman stabbed a man in the back (PHOTOS)

Investigator of Mukachevo Police Department sent to the court the case file with the indictment about inflicting grievous bodily harm.

During the investigation, the police officers found out that in late March the suspect and her partner for several days were staying at their friend’s, a 49-year-old resident of Mukachevo. During the meal, a quarrel started between the host and the guests, then the woman took a knife and stabbed the host in the back. The man was taken to hospital. The guests stayed in the apartment, and the suspect’s partner, in order to get rid of the evidence, broke the knife and threw it on the roof.

 The police found the weapon. The inflicted injuries, according to the conclusion of forensic examination, were classified as severe. 

Thus, the 34-year-old resident of Mukachevo was notified of being suspected of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (grievous bodily harm), which is punishable by imprisonment of five to eight years. The criminal proceeding case was sent to Mukachevo city and district court, which will decide the fate of the woman.
