In Mukachevo, a Mercedes Benz hit a 22-year-old pedestrian (PHOTOS)

On January 27, at 18:10, the police received a report about an accident on Tomas Masaryk Street in the city of Mukachevo. 
The investigative team found out that the driver of a Mercedes Benz, while driving on Tomas Masaryk street, lost control and run over a pedestrian.
The 22-year-old resident of Mukachevo with numerous injuries was taken to the intensive care unit of Mukachevo Central District Hospital.
The driver of the car, a 37-year-old resident of Vynogradiv, was tested for alcohol intoxication. It was found out that the driver was sober.
The car was taken to the impound lot of the Mukachevo Police Department.
The preliminary legal classification in the case is Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of traffic safety rules). Investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the case – the Communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police informs.
