Along almost the entire length of the Tisa in Hungary, which is 550 km, there is now a threat of flooding after the heavy ice drift that came from Transcarpathia. The preparation to potential emergency is ongoing – the Mukachevo.net informed.
The situation is especially dangerous in the northeast, where the highest level was announced for the 28 km zone, where a huge ice jam has formed.
There is a danger both for people and for wild animals, that are running on the ice in search of food.
Recall that recently ice drifting crushed several ships.
