In February, regional law enforcement agencies have drawn up and forwarded to the court 10 reports on corruption cases

In February this year, law enforcement agencies of Transcarpathian region have made and sent to the court 10 reports on administrative corruption offenses against 4 in February 2014. 

Of the total number of reports, 6 were drawn up by prosecutors, two – by OCD, and two – by the Security Service Office. 

Among those, who have been brought to administrative responsibility for corruption: 2 persons are officials of local executive authorities, including 1 former head of district state administration – civil servant of the 3rd category who has illegally accrued a bonus for himself, one is an employee of the state fiscal service in the region, one is an officer of the customs, 5 are PEC chairpersons who have wrongfully decided to allocate a one-time cash award for themselves, and 1 is an officer of other public authorities. 

5 reports were drafted for violation of Art.172-7 of the CAO (conflict of interest), 3 – for Art.172-4 of the CAO (moonlighting), 1 report for violation of Art.172-5 of the CAO (receiving gifts) and 1 – for Art. 172-6 of the CAO (violation of financial control requirements).
