From 2 to 4 of May, the international petanque tournament will be held in Uzhgorod, the Podiyi Zakarpattya reported.

The petanque tournament, which will be held for the second time, will take place in the alleys of the Bozdosh park. Its organizer is the President of the Petanque Federation of Ukraine Petro Hoys.

Currently, petanque players from Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia and Russia confirmed their participation in the tournament.

It is noteworthy that the president of the International Petanque Federation Claude Azem will visit the tournament. He will bring the team from France, who are world champions. In addition, on May 1, the French team will hold a master class, Petro Hoys said.

 Transcarpathia, in addition to Uzhgorod, will be represented by petanque players from Mukachevo club and the village of Chervone.
