“In Brussels, we agreed on new projects for the Transcarpathian community” – Chubirko

The Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko and an MP of Ukraine Vasyl Brenzovych were in Brussels on a working visit, where they visited the governing institutions of the European Union. The Chairman of the council reported on the first results of the trip on his Facebook page.

"I am happy for the guys from the 128th Brigade who are finally going home to rest.   This issue has always been under our control.   Today, along with the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Vasyl Brenzovych, at the invitation of our compatriot, MEP Andrea Bochkor, we were on a working visit in Brussels, where we visited the governing institutions of the European Union. There have been a number of successful meetings, including the one with the Ambassador of the Ukraine’s Mission to the EU Kostiantyn Yeliseyev and the newly elected President of the EU Committee of the Regions Mark Markkula. We discussed new opportunities for the Transcarpathian region within the cooperation Ukraine-EU and the Eastern Partnership programs. We also attended the first meeting of the Parliamentary Association Committee EU-Ukraine. We received full support in the implementation of our suggested projects that will serve for the benefit of the Transcarpathian community" – Volodymyr Chubirko says.
