Yesterday (28.07) evening, Mukachevo border guards in cooperation with the Hungarian Border Guard Service detained three residents of Beregovo district who were trying to smuggle nine boxes of cigarettes to Hungary.
The cigarettes were in a car UAZ without license plates and documents. The detention took place in the green border area near the checkpoint "Luzhanka", it was documented in an administrative report.
After documentation of the offense, all three detainees (who were men of military age) were sent to the military commissariat for mobilization. In the area of green border, controlled by the Chop border guard detachment, no attempts of smuggling of goods or illegal migrants were recorded.
