If you are going to the Carpathians, consider the weather forecasts

In particular, weather forecasters warn that during the next two days – on February 5-6, due to thawing, a significant (level III) avalanche hazard will remain in the mountains of the eastern part of Transcarpathian region. 
In the mountains of the western and central parts of the region, moderate (level II) avalanche hazard is expected.
