Hungary is extending a helping hand to Transcarpathian farmers allocating 2.5 billion forints

Yesterday, in the Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute named after Ferenc Rakoczy II, they signed an agreement on cooperation and financial support of Transcarpathian farmers and entrepreneurs from the Hungarian government, the Beregovo district state administration informs.

The agreement was signed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Levente Magyar and the head of the KMKS, member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vasyl Brenzovych. The ceremony was also attended by the head of Beregovo district state administration Istvan Petrushka, the Rector of the Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute, deputy of the Regional Council Ildika Oros, the Bishop of the Reformed Church of Transcarpathia Sandor Zan Fabian and others.

Under this project, already this year, Transcarpathia will receive financial aid of 2.5 billion forints.

In addition, Hungary will allocate another 20 billion forints of a soft loan. And the next year, the Hungarian Government will provide the region another 5 billion forints.
