3000 kg of plastic: Hungarian volunteers showed shocking results of the ecological campaign on the Tisza.
According to Hungarian activists, in 3 days before the start of the tourist season, 100 volunteers collected 3000 kg of waste from the water and coast – the 0312 writes.
The volunteers were housed in a camp and built 7 self-made boats from plastic bottles, and also cleared the river with a canoe.
In general, they cleared 25-kilometer area near the town of Tiszafured.
Hungarian activists believe that if they had had more time and workforce, they could have collected twice, or even three times more waste.
