How Uzhgorod hospitals and dispensaries are working during the quarantine

The administration of the "Uzhgorod City Center of Primary Health Care" for the period of quarantine recommends restricting visits to outpatient clinics and other medical institutions and provides information about its work during this period:
– Family doctor consultations for healthy children and adults are conducted by phone and online. 

– Patients with symptoms of acute viral diseases should call an outpatient clinic or family doctor. The doctor will decide whether to visit the patient at home or invite to the outpatient clinic. 

– Patients with exacerbations of chronic diseases also should call their family doctor or the outpatient office. 

– Uzhgorod citizens who have returned from the countries with serious COVID-19 epidemic situation, should call their family doctor or the outpatient clinic closest to their place of residence to get advice on self-isolation measures. 

– If necessary, an electronic prescription for elderly persons will be delivered at the place of residence after consultation with the family doctor.
The Central City Clinical Hospital, the Uzhgorod City Children’s Clinical Hospital and the Uzhgorod City Maternity Hospital, in accordance with the order of the Uzhgorod City Council Health Department, are suspending planned hospitalization. In particular, only urgent interventions will be carried out, all planned surgical interventions will be postponed to after the quarantine period.
At the inpatient departments of the hospitals, patient visits is banned, entry will be restricted. Patients undergoing treatment are prohibited from leaving the hospital.
