Like-minded persons on both sides of the counter. This was the company that gathered in Uzhgorod bookstore on St. Nicholas Day. The announced campaign "Choose a book – make a mood for yourself" took place there. In order to help clients choose from a large number of books the one that will bring joy as a gift or for their own reading, the organizers invited volunteer consultants.
Book lovers turned out to be experts in various areas: a doctor and an artist, a writer and a financier – but all of them have one thing in common – almost professional love of books. On this day they were giving advise, browsing new books and even reading them for kids.
And since nowadays no serious campaign goes without helping Transcarpathian soldiers, representatives of the volunteer movement came to the bookstore too. The win-win lottery was quite useful on that festive day!
According to the organizers, the experience turned out to be success! And in this case, it’s not about the profit. Because the bookstore gathered a company of like-minded people who were glad to talk, get acquainted with new people and books! Therefore, they plan to expend the experience received on December 19. The next book "gathering" is to be held on December 25th, the first day of Catholic Christmas.
