Honorary Citizens of Uzhgorod: the candidacy of Kaminska was supported, Yartseva’s – was not…

44 deputies of Uzhgorod City Council voted for this decision. 

The decision was adopted at the session of the City Council unanimously and without arguments – the Zaholovok reported.

Also, deputy Kindrat did not receive the title. He was supported by a little more than 20 deputies. O.Halyka, the former director of the factory "Bolshevik" and K.Omelchak, a pensioner, who donates almost all of her pension to volunteers, were not supported by deputies too. 

Earlier, the Acting Mayor Victor Shchadey stated that he wanted, Galina Yartseva and Olena Kaminska to become honored Uzhgorod citizens.

However, deputies did not support the candidacy of the journalist, volunteer Galina Yartseva.
