“History Uncensored” was presented in Uzhgorod

On April 11, the presentation of the public educational project "LIKBEZ. Historical front" took place in the Transcarpathian Regional Scientific Library.

Kyryl Halushko – the coordinator of the project, famous historian and sociologist – brought to Uzhgorod the first and most successful fruit of this project – a series of books on the history of Ukraine in ten volumes entitled "History Uncensored." Kyryl Halushko also presented to Transcarpathians two more books – "History of Ukrainian Troops," which he actively promotes in military units and schools, and his own fiction novel "Maidan Semester."

Uzhgorod became the tenth city of the presentation tour. The historian said that because of the situation in the country, residents of Kramatorsk, Slovyansk, that is the population of those cities that need the historical truth the most, were the first to see the book series.

Kyryl Halushko noted that the information war continues, and history is one of the main subjects of discussion and manipulation. Ukraine does not have such a powerful propaganda machine as Russia, so the the first task of historians is to research and tell Ukrainians the true history of Ukraine, not the one that was for centuries written for us. The purpose of the project is to dispel the myths, to research the distorted and unknown pages of history.

Kyryl Halushko noted that professional historians in Ukraine have plenty of work, so he hopes that the series of ten volumes on the history of Ukraine is just the beginning of their educational activities.

In the end, Kyryl Halushko gave the regional library the books from the series "History Uncensored" and the new "History of Ukrainian Troops."
