Historical buildings of Transcarpathia have settled in the park of architectural monuments “Mini Hungary” (PHOTOS)

On March 10, a new exhibition devoted to Transcarpathia and Romania opened in the Hungarian town of Szarvas, where the park of miniature architectural monuments "Mini Hungary" (Mini Magyarorszag), the Mukachevo.net   reports.

It features 16 new exhibits – the most beautiful buildings in Transcarpathia and Northern Transylvania, where the Hungarian community lives.

Those are miniature synagogue in Satu Mare, Mukachevo and Khust castles, wooden church of St. Archangel Michael in Uzhok, the Royal Court (now Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute) in Beregovo, the monument on the Veretsky pass, etc.

 

The new outdoor exhibition is located on approximately 500 square meters. There is also a working mini-railway with 100-meter-long viaducts. 

The park "Mini Hungary" in Szarvas was opened in 2013, last year alone it was visited by 92 thousand tourists. It is located on the territory of the largest arboretum in Hungary, founded in 1880. Currently, it features 54 exact copies of buildings and bridges, 13 railway stations, seven ships and 21 interactive models.
