“Goverla”, “Karpaty” and “Metallist” may not receive certificate of the FFU

The meeting of the FFU Committee for certification of football clubs took place in the House of Football. Three Ukrainian clubs in the Premier League – "Goverla", "Karpaty" and "Metalist" – have problems with repayment of debt.

The meeting of the FFU Committee for certification of football clubs was attended by representatives of only 2 of 6 clubs that had the biggest problems with repayment of debt – "Volyn" and "Metalist".

"Goverla" and "Karpaty" did not attend the meeting. They, as well as "Metalist", have the biggest problems with obtaining the certificate of the FFU to participate in the season 2016/17. The General Director of "Metalist" Oleksandr Boytsan is going to meet with the owner of the club Serhiy Kurchenko on Wednesday, and then the Kharkiv club may begin to pay its players and will fix the situation reagarding obtaining of the certificate.
