Garbage, stench, flies: checkpoint “Luzhanka” has turned into a latrine (VIDEO)

The closure of many checkpoints on the border with Europe and restrictions on the transit of passenger transport have caused a real collapse at the checkpoint "Luzhanka" in Beregovo district.

Hundreds of cars in the queue, the lack of appropriate infrastructure, basic amenities during the long wait turned the nearest village of Astey into a cesspool in the truest sense of the word.

Natalia Drozdova from Vynogradiv shared her impressions of the long wait at the checkpoint "Luzhanka" on Facebook.

"Stench is all around, it stinks of sewage, stagnant urine and rotten chicken. Flies the size of a helicopter flying over your head… People standing in line for several days can not even observe personal hygiene. And it is still summer +30 outside!!

Lack of garbage containers along the road leads to the formation of huge piles of all kinds of junk, food and household waste… Not to mention cigarette butts – everything around is covered with them like with snow in winter…

What you see is so shocking that you begin to question the fact that you live in a civilized country…", – Natalia Drozdova wrote and posted the video on the Internet.
