On June 21 – June 22, the public defense of graduation projects of bachelors of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts took place in the "Owl’s Nest" in Uzhgorod. And those are more than 40 students.
We got there around 17.00 on the first day. The defense procedure was as follows: the students would present their ideas, and the members of the commission would ask questions and make comments.
The graduation projects this year were diverse and interesting.
Designer students showed interesting works of graphic, interior and landscape design, as well as web design and multimedia technologies. Those are the improvement of the territory of the kindergarten on Belinsky street, the "Sky Dream" youth and entertainment center, "Andy", even the art gallery of the Transcarpathian Museum of Local Lore, as well as the "Uzh Time" watches, the web design of a video game.
Associate Professor of the Department of Design of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts Ivan Nebesnyk (Jr.) says that his students this year presented posters, guide "This is Uzhgorod" and a comic book.
By the way, the city could really use some of the works. However, it’s not so simple. Ivan Nebesnyk admitted that the students’ works still need to be refined, and the City Hall needs quick solutions.
On June 23-24, the public defense of graduation projects of the students of the College of Arts of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts took place in the halls of the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life. And the public defense of the masters’ projects will take place in the winter.
