On the Ukrainian market there is a steady demand for balcony flowers that are grown in large amount in Transcarpathia, the ualife.net writes.

For several years now, Transcarpathian florists have been providing the population of the whole country with plants that adorn the houses of people from all regions.

However, this business is very expensive. The owner of flower business says that compared with other plants, such as vegetables, flower growing is very costly.   For example, the cost of a surfinia is almost 20 UAH. And it is sold to wholesalers for 30 UAH. All this takes considerable effort and investment, so this business requires considerable financial costs, the florist claims.

Florists say that that on the market there is a stable demand for petunias, verbena, surfinia and a dozen more varieties. Each flower has its own features. Therefore growing and delivery of flowers is a very hard work. Workers say that careless and lazy people will not be engaged in floriculture, so those, who have decided to embark on this path, should have considerable patience and enthusiasm.
