From “junta” with love – a vehicle for Transcarpathians in the ATO (PHOTOS)

The details of the most expensive purchase by the Mukachevo wing of the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers ("Mukachevo junta") were disclosed by volunteer Natalia Zotova. 

"We have known for a long time that reliable cars are needed at the front very much.   We began accumulating funds for the purchase in the autumn. We wanted to buy a real "combat" vehicle that will not fail in a crucial moment. We were long looking and considering various options. But still we had not enough money for a good vehicle" – Natalia says.

She adds: "Then we decided to appeal to philanthropists. We still needed about twenty thousand hryvnias. For we chose a seven-seated jeep "Mitsubishi Pajero" (released in 2002). They asked 4500 euros for it. But it so happened that we bought the jeep and still had the money. For that, we thank Andriy Baloha! Thank you for such huge and prompt support. Now we are waiting for photos of the jeep from the front. The soldiers promised a morning photo session, but the jeep, on the day of Epiphany, already had its first peaceful baptism of fire: delivered from the war zone to the hospital a young woman who had unexpected contractions. So more photos will be later. But, according to soldiers’ feedback, the vehicle is a real "warrior"!".
