At the bus stops "Univermag "Ukraina", "Kyryla and Mefodiia Sq. (Cathedral)", "shop "Electron", there are electronic boards, which display the time, how many minutes until the arrival of the bus of each route.
The stops are under round-the-clock video surveillance, passengers can use free Wi-Fi. Installation of "alarm" call buttons, charging ports for telephones and the improvement of the bus stops is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
The installation of the bus stops was financed by the "Dozor Ukraine" LLC, while electricity supply and the Internet services were financed from the city budget.
The "smart" bus stops are integrated into the GPS monitoring system, which informs passengers about public transport online. The resource is hosted on the official site of the City Council in the section "Public transport". For the convenience of passengers, there is also the Dozor City mobile app, which can be downloaded through the Play Market. Thus, every passenger has the opportunity to receive up-to-date information about the city’s routes, the list of stops on the route, and the symbol "bus stop" is active and it can help you find out how many minutes it is untill the arrival of the bus.
The fourth "smart" bus stop, which is located on Koryatovich square, will be connected to the GPS monitoring system after it is connected to the Internet, – the press service of Uzhgorod City Council informs
