Forever 29-year-old… The plaque to another fallen Uzhgorod resident was installed in Uzhgorod

The memorial plaque to another hero fallen in the East – Andriy Palai from Uzhgorod – was installed on the facade of the secondary school №19, where he studied. Family members and friends, classmates, teachers and pupils of the school, the deputy mayor of Uzhgorod Oleksandr Bilak, the military commissioner of the city Mykola Zhuravlev came to honor the fallen soldier.

Andriy Palai was remembered as always quiet and friendly young man, who was interested in military profession since childhood, was a true patriot.   He served in the 15th Battalion of the Transcarpathian 128th mountain infantry brigade, was defending the position of the ATO forces near Debaltseve. He was killed on February 8, 2015, near the village of Ridkodub in Luhansk region. He was 29 years old. Andriy Palai’s body was identified among 31 killed fighters of the 128th mountain infantry brigade. that were taken from the area of ​​fighting by activists of the Center for Liberation of POW "Officer corps."

In the presence of Andriy Palai’s mother – Katerina Ivanivna – the memorial plaque was unveiled by two classmates of the Hero, then the clergymen prayed and blessed the plaque.- the official website of Uzhgorod city council informs.
