The brass band of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic loves to bring people holiday. Its concerts are always crowded, noisy and fun.
Powerful orchestral sound combined with solo performances, participation of interesting performers, constant updating of the repertoire with music of different eras, styles and genres – that is the main secret of the success of our artists. This band is always welcomed at any celebrations, festivals and artistic events. And every concert program of the brass band strikes with freshness and variety.
And now, on the eve of the main holidays of the season, the band is preparing for their fans light, sunny, impressionistic music.
The director is Honored Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Spivak. The concert will be hosted by musicologist Natalia Pitsur.
The concert will feature songs in different genres: from Puerto Rican to jazz music, from works of Alfred Schnittke and Astor Piazzolla to famous soundtracks of John Williams and Harold Arlen.
Known Christmas hits will also be performed.
The concert will be held on December 11 as part of the "Weekend Music" project. The beginning is at 16.00.
