The traditional sweet fest, which brings together the best beekeepers of the region in Uzhgorod, is taking place for the eighth time. It is organized by the Association of Beekeepers of Transcarpathia; this year, according to its head Volodymyr Lyakh, 15 beekeepers came to the festival in Uzhgorod to offer various kinds of honey and products made of it. Lovers of this sweet product can buy lime, herbal, acacia, mountain honey, as well as propolis, wax, royal jelly, pollen, to taste and buy honey, honey kvass, honey gingerbread. At the festival, there is an original photo zone with bees, where everyone can take a picture, an observation beehive with bees is displayed. Different agroproducts are also presented: cheese, sausages, etc. The official opening of the festival, honey blessing and the concert program will begin on Saturday, August 18, at 14.00. The festival will last for 3 days – until Sunday inclusive.
