Due to the extraordinary social and political situation in the country, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov and the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Valentyn Nalyvaychenko appealed to citizens demanding to immediately surrender firearms, that are not legally and properly registered, to law enforcement agencies.
They also ordered officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine to immediately begin searching for and seizing of illegal weapons and unconditional and thorough prosecution of all persons, who have not surrendered the weapon, to the fullest extent of the law regardless of their political identity and participation in community policing units.
Meanwhile, the enrollment to the National Guard is ongoing. Recruitment services work from 7.00 to 22.00 daily.
