Regional authorities have repeatedly appealed to Kyiv requesting to allocate the funds for appartments for families of Transcarpathian soldiers who were killed during the anti-terrorist operation. As of January 26, over 4000 Transcarpathians were participants of the ATO, more than 200 were wounded, deaths of 38 soldiers were confirmed. Currently, 14 families of the fallen soldiers are in the housing list. The RSA once again appealed to the Ministry of Finance and provided the calculation for the necessary funds to purchase housing for these families.
Today Transcarpathia is the only region in the country that has not received funds for this purpose.
