Fallen trees and settlements without electricity: yesterday’s strong winds did some damage

On 29.06.2017, due to wind gusts, trees falls occurred, namely: 

– at 13:20 – tree falling on the roadway (Uzhgorod district, the village of V.Dobron, Shkilna Street);

– at 14:00 – tree falling on the roadway (Mizhhiria, Shevchenko Street);

– at 14:10 – tree falling on the roadway (Mizhhirya district, the village of Zaperedillya, Kozyay tract, Dolyna – Khust highway);

– at 14:20 – tree falling on the roadway (Mizhhiria, Gnatyuk Street);

– at 14:37 – tree falling on the roadway (Mizhhiria, Kutuzov Street);

– at 15:25 – tree falling on the roadway (Perechyn district, the village of Dubrynichi, Ukrainska Street);

– at 15:28 – tree falling on the roadway (Mizhhirya district, the village of Stryhalni);

– at 15:45 – tree falling on the roadway (Rakhiv district, the village of Kostylivka, Mukachevo-Rohanyn-Lviv highway); 

– at 17:35 – tree falling on the roadway (Rakhiv district, the village of Bohdan). 

Nobody was injured by the fallen trees. 9 pieces of equipment and 36 officers of the State Emergenices Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region were engaged to cut the fallen trees.

Due to worsening weather conditions, as of 6:00 30.06.17, there is no electricity supply in 5 localities, namely 3 villages in Rakhiv district (Roztoky, Bohdan, Luhy) and 2 villages in Mizhhirya district (Pryslip, Torun).
