Tactical special training of Transcarpathian police units, rescuers, soldiers of the Uzhgorod Battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine took place at the "Shypka" police special training ground in Mukachevo.
In close to real conditions, law enforcement officers learned to coherently and effectively counter riots, neutralize hooligans. Together with the National Guards, policemen rehearsed escorting of detainees. There were elements of hand-to-hand combat, explosions, burning tires, etc., the communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police reported.
According to the commander of the Consolidated Battalion of the Transcarpathian Police, the Head of the Preventive Activities of the National Police in Transcarpathian region, Police Colonel Roman Us, the purpose of such exercises, which are carried out regularly in the region, is to increase the combat effectiveness of law enforcement officers, coordination and effectiveness of actions in the conditions of mass riots.
– Law enforcement officers should always be prepared for unforeseen situations, be able to effectively and professionally counter criminals. That is why it is important to regularly conduct such training of the personnel in order to be physically and psychologically prepared for the tasks, – Colonel Roman Us stressed.
