Executive Committee prohibited the construction on the Rakotsi-Goida Streets

The extraordinary session of the Uzhgorod city council Executive Committee was held today, April 28. It was decided to hold it on Saturday, otherwise the next meeting would fall in the weekend according to the Mayor of the Regional Center Viktor Pogorelov.

There were only two issues. First of all, the executive committee members executed the request of the houses residents along the Rakotsi and Goyda Streets, where at the adjoining territory began clearing for the construction yesterday. The inner quarterly area has been allocated to other people during the previous local authorities work, then it was sold to the new owners who are going to build something on it. It is known that the interests of the land owners during the yesterday’s conflict were presented by the priest Viktor Bed.

Members of the Executive Committee unanimously voted to ban this constraction, because it turned out that the construction standards on this area are not saved – the distance from the apartment building to the planned premises is too small.

The second issue which the executive committee approved is the extradition trade activities evidence and approved the protocol committee (Chairman is Viktor Trykur), which identified where the season temporary trade outlets will accommodate this summer in Uzhgorod.
