Educators of Uzhgorod today discussed the results of their work in 2018 and outlined the main tasks for 2019 at the final meeting of the Uzhgorod City Council Education Department with the participation of the heads of all kindergartens and schools of the regional center.
Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv told the heads of kindergartens and school principals, educational institutions that they must constantly monitor the quality of their children’s food and ensure safety in the institutions. He reminded about the personnel changes in the management of educational institutions, emphasized that the educational process depends on organizational skills of the managers, their ability to carry out systematic work, to introduce innovations. Bohdan Andriyiv asked to use budget funds reasonably, for urgent needs.
The task for school and kindergarten principals and for the department of education for the next year is to continue working on the improvement of the school territories. The city authorities and the deputies will be paying particular attention to ensuring the illumination of the territories and the extension of the access roads.
Bohdan Andriyiv congratulated the educators on forthcoming Christmas and New Year holidays, wished them peace, health, patience, and inspiration in introducing the concept of the new Ukrainian school. He emphasized that all preschoolers and first-graders are provided with sweet gifts for New Year’s Eve, asked to help the children to celebrate the holidays in an interesting way.
